Step 1 – Starting Your Armageddon Cult in Florida
The first step in the Doom & Gloom challenge is to start an Armageddon cult in Florida. To do this, you’ll need to create a new custom character and choose to reside in the United States.
Next, select from Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami or Tampa to be born in Florida. Once you’re born, age your character up till they are at least 18 years old.
Purchasing the Cult Expansion Pack
To start a cult and complete this challenge, you’ll need to have purchased the Cult Expansion Pack which costs $4.99.
This expansion pack gives you the ability to start your cult and lead your followers to the promised land (or the end of the world, in this case).
Saving Up Money and Fame
To start your cult, you’ll need to have lots of money and fame. This can be easily accomplished by getting part-time jobs early on or doing freelance gigs.
You’ll need to save up around $1M to purchase land and start a cult.
Step 2 – Own a Compound
Once you’ve got the money, you can click on the Activities tab and select the Commune option. Next, buy a Compound. Doing so will automatically complete task #2 for the Doom & Gloom challenge.
After you’ve chosen your plot, you can pick your cult’s name, set its Philosophy to Armageddon, and follow the steps to create the cult.
Step 3 – Owning 10+ SUVs
The next step in the Doom & Gloom challenge is to purchase ten or more SUVs. Once you’ve started your Armageddon cult, you can earn profits through merchandise and collect an annual fee from your followers.
Over time, you’ll start earning millions and can use the money to buy SUVs. To do so, head to the Assets tab, click on Go Shopping, and pick a Car Dealer. Next, choose an SUV from their catalog and buy ten such cars.
